Migrant Birds: Barn Swallow
The Barn Swallow (Hirundo rustica) is one of many migrant birds in Southeast Asia. Each year, Barn swallows migration takes place, during which the populations of the northern hemisphere will fly down south to spend the winter in Southeast Asia. Worthy of note that not all population of Barn swallows is migratory, for sedentary populations can be found elsewhere such as those in East-Mediterranean and Central Mexico.
