Bulbul Pictures: Two Bulbuls of the Genus Pycnonotus
The brown bulbuls of the genus Pycnonotus are common inhabitants of the forest margins. They are very common and ralatively easy to observe, but some species are quite tricky to identify because of their close resemblance with each other.

It is not unusual to find Red-eyed Bulbul and Oliove-winged Bulbul co-occur together at the same place. Both species like to eat fruits, but they also take insects that they pick from the branches and leaves.
