Differences Between Damselfly and Dragonfly
Damselfly looks a lot like dragonfly with a pair of disproportionately large compound eyes dominated the head and a rather slender abdomen. The wings of damselfly are folded upwards and lined nicely above the body at rest, instead of spreading out horizontally like dragonfly.

The distance between the eyes is broader in damselfly, and the body is slenderer. A damselfly flight pattern is also different as well, often described as weaker than that of a dragonfly.
